Dorset Coast Path Relay - Sat 7th July

It's time to get another BOK team together for this year's outing. For those unfamiliar with the event, it's a relay race from Lyme Regis to Studland Head. Teams may have as many or as few runners as desired and changeover points can be anywhere on the course. It is suitable for runners of all ages and standards as there are numerous opportunities for both long and short legs and the race is normally won by means of tactical 'sprint' teams helping out on the hills. Last year the race included an age-related handicap class and BOK finished joint 1st in this with the South West Junior Squad. In previous years BOK has also been overall winner. The event is held to raise funds for the South West Junior Squad and normally attracts between 5 and 8 teams from local orienteering clubs.
