SWOA Technical Conference - 6th December 2008

SWOA will be staging a Technical Conference on 6th December 2008 at Millfield School. The conference is aimed at a broad audience including controllers, planners and organisers. Attendance is free for SWOA members. Full details are now available at the SWOA website.

SWOA Summer Relay Series

This year's SWOA Summer Relay Series consists of the following events:

• Sun 29th June, Hardenhuish Park, Chippenham (NWO)
• Sun 6th July, Stock Hill, near Wells (BOK)
• Sat 19th July, Haytor, near Bovey Tracey (DEVON)
• Sun 27th July, Hethfelton, near Wool (WSX)

SWOA Relay Scorer, Mike Crockett, has asked us to point out that it is a requirement for the club name or initials to appear in the team name for it to be recognised as competitive in the SWOA inter-club relay league.

Adams Avery Relay - Entry Deadline: Tuesday 19th June

Entries for the BOK Adams Avery Relay at Ashton Court (Sunday 1st July) must be received by Tuesday 19th June. You may enter as a team (of three runners - no need to declare names until the day of the event) or as an individual (the organiser will assign you to a team). Event Details; Entry Form.

This event forms parts of the SWOA Chairman's Relay Series, which comprises the following events:

• Sunday 24th June, Coate Water Country Park (NWO)
• Sunday 1st July, Ashton Court (BOK)
• Sunday 15th July, Cull-Peppers Dish (WSX)
• Sunday 22nd July, Whitchurch Common (DEVON)
• Sunday 29th July, Somerley Park (WIM)

Pre-entry is mandatory for the BOK and WIM events and preferred for the WSX event.
